Contribution Limits
Under federal law, the maximum allowable contribution for each individual is $4,200 for the
current election cycle ($2,100 each for the primary and general elections). Couples may
give up to $8,400 from common funds for the primary and general elections, but both signatures
must be on the account. Contributions are not deductible for Federal income tax purposes.
